Biography

Born on May 25, 1968 in the city of Kiev.

In 1990 graduated from the Law Faculty of Taras Shevchenko Kyiv State University.

 

1990 Assistant of the Department of Economic Law of Kyiv State University named after Taras Shevchenko.
1992–1993 Member of the Research and Development Group on the drafting of the Commercial Code of Ukraine.
1994–2004 Executive Secretary, Secretary General of the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
1999–2001 Member of the Expert Group of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe of the Geneva Convention of 1961.
2004–2015 Leading researcher at the Research Institute of Private Law and Entrepreneurship of the Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
2004–2011 Lawyer, Advisor, Senior Advisor, Partner of Practice of International Arbitration and International Trade of the Vasil Kisil & Partners Law Firm (Kyiv).
2007 Attorney at the Kyiv Bar Association.
2008–2011 Deputy Chairman of the Arbitration Chamber of Ukraine.

She is a recognized expert in the field of international trade law.

Participated in the consideration of over 370 disputes as a sole arbitrator, arbitrator appointed by the party, or chairman of the arbitrators in arbitration proceedings under the regulations of various arbitration institutions of the world.

Since 2004 worked as a freelance consultant of the Main Legal Department of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. During this time she took part in the preparation and review of more than 100 legislative acts.

For merits in the development of arbitration, she was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine (2009).

On September 20, 2018, she was appointed to the position of a member of the Central Election Commission by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Resolution No. 2570-VIII. On October 5, 2018, she took an oath of a member of the CEC. On the same day, at the first meeting of the new composition of the Commission by secret ballot, she was elected chairman of the Central Election Commission.
